Plot of the Turkish TV series For My Daughters
The soap opera Kizlarim Icin while not presenting a novel or extraordinary story, its potential lies in its incredible performances, as well as in the mild suspense overlaid by all the drama of the story.
Yasar is the protagonist of the story. He is a father of a family of five children who must work tirelessly at two jobs in order to support his family. Still, financial problems take their toll on the household.
On top of this, the relationship with his wife is not going well, the constant arguments have turned the home into a real hell, so much so that his own daughters wish they could become independent just to leave home.
And, as if the problems were not enough, soon Sumru, one of the daughters of the family, discovers that her mother is having an extramarital affair. After learning of this, she angrily argues with her mother, an argument that leads to a fatal accident that ends her mother’s life.
When Yasar discovers what happened, he decides to plead guilty to his wife’s death just to avoid Sumru being sentenced to prison.
Now, with their mother dead and their father in prison, the group of sisters must unite to face the tragedy that has just struck their lives. Will this family, decimated by death and betrayal, be able to recover from the tragedy? Will they be able to keep the family secret?
