The plot of the novel Destino (Elkizi) focuses on Eza, who is a girl who fights for her dreams, however, given the adverse circumstances, she only has the memory of her mother. Her husband, a man named Harun, and her mother Nermin, take advantage of her all the time because they see her as vulnerable. The thing is, Eza loves her husband, but while he is away, she lives with her mother-in-law, a manipulative woman.
Nermin is used to her son being only her property, that’s why she defames her daughter-in-law by inventing all kinds of stories against her. And the worst thing is that Harun believes all her stories, which makes conflicting situations arise every day and he doubts his wife’s love.
Thus, Eza’s life is nothing like what she had dreamed of. Her mother-in-law makes her life impossible and her husband no longer trusts her.
But like everything else in life, young Eza has two choices to make: give up or fight. And Eza chooses to fight, to fight with all her might. She begins to set goals, and one of them is to take revenge on her mother-in-law.
