Turkish romantic comedies have something special that makes us fall in love with them. Maybe it’s the charisma and chemistry of the actors, or their funny and crazy scenes, or a little bit of everything; the truth is that when you start a Turkish comedy soap opera, you can’t stop until you finish it.
There are many such soap operas, such as Room 309, Daydreamer and Twist of fate, also known as Baht Oyunu. It is about this last soap opera that we come to talk to you. It is a short comedy series of only 17 episodes premiering in 2021.
Plot of the Turkish series Twist of Fate
The protagonist of the Turkish TV dram Twist of fate is Ada, who is a superstitious girl wrapped in a series of family beliefs that she must confront in order to find her destiny.
The superstition around which her life revolves is that all the women in her family married their first love, since, according to their traditions and beliefs, this is the only way to have a happy life.
Now, all this sounds wonderful for Ada until Rüzgar, her first love, leaves her. So, in the blink of an eye, Ada’s life will take a radical turn because with Rüzgar goes all her hopes of continuing the family tradition and, therefore, of having a happy life.
One day, Ada runs into Bora, a boy she feels attracted to. From then on, the young woman will be immersed in a complicated dilemma: follow her heart, but risk being unhappy, or try to win back Rüzgar, for whom it seems she no longer feels the same passion as before.

As we said at the beginning, the series The Game of Destiny has 17 episodes, which were broadcast in a single season released in 2021. In turn, each chapter has a duration of around 120 minutes.

The soap opera The Baht Game was directed by Serdar Gözelekli; meanwhile, the script was prepared by Fatih Enes Ömeroğlu, Erkan Birgören and Tuna Kıygı.
As far as the top cast is concerned, it is composed of actors who are not so well known within the world of Turkish television, however, in this series they perform with solvency in their respective roles.
