Plot of the series The Truth (Marasli)
The plot of this Turkish series revolves around Celal Marasli Kun, a retired Turkish Special Forces soldier who now runs a second-hand bookstore. Marasli’s life changed drastically after his daughter was shot in an attack on an outdoor concert.
One ordinary day, a young woman named Mahur Türel enters Marasli’s bookstore, and after leaving, she is involved in an accident: she witnesses the murder of a prosecutor by Savaş Yildirim, a dangerous criminal. And to complete the situation, the young woman is discovered taking pictures of the event. But luckily, she is saved by Marasli.
When Aziz Türel, who is an influential businessman and the girl’s father, learns what happened, he asks Marasli to protect his daughter from any retaliation Savas may take.
Marasli at first refuses to accept the job, but when he discovers that there is a connection between the Türel family and the attack in which his daughter was wounded, he decides to take the job of bodyguard in order to investigate further.
From that moment on, Mahur and Türel will be together, even though they are complete opposites.

The telenovela has only one season. This season is composed of 26 episodes in its original version and 74 in the international version. Depending on the version, the episodes can have an approximate duration of 120 minutes.
Cast
The director of the series is Arda Sarigun. As for its cast, it features important stars of Turkish television, such as Burak Deniz and Alina Boz. Burak is known for starring in Hayat and Alina for participating in “Love 101”.
