The story of this Turkish soap opera revolves around Derin Çelik, whose father was sentenced to prison for a crime he never committed. Because of that, Derin was sent to an orphanage where she thought all that time that her father was guilty. However, Adil always wanted his daughter to know the truth, so he wrote a diary to give to her.
Derin did not learn the truth about her father until she turned 18. However, it was too late to do anything about it; her father died in prison, innocent.
This strikes a deep chord in Derin’s heart and she sets out to take justice into her own hands. Therefore, the young woman returns to the neighbourhood of her childhood under a false identity. This is how a woman named Yağmur Özden comes to live in a wealthy neighbourhood, staying right next to the Arsoy mansion.
But it’s all a sham, she is actually Derin, Adil’s daughter, who has made the indeclinable decision to take revenge on the people who unjustly put her father in prison.
