Plot of the Turkish series Respect
The story of this novel has Ercüment Çözer as its protagonist, who rebels forcefully against the disrespect and harshness that most people tend to ignore, avoid and eventually forget, within the framework of an indolent society.
Now, Ercüment is not just anyone, this man is a potential sociopath who is obsessed with his idea of respect.
However, contrary to what he might have imagined, Cözer is not alone, two young lovers, Helen and Savas, have just set foot in an unknown world by being victims of the mistreatment of a group of people; ending up, finally, is responsible for a morbid chain of murders that take place in Istanbul.
When this begins to happen, the issue of respect takes on maximum relevance, and the concept of disrespect instantly becomes a social and media struggle between two different generations.
And in that media follow-up, TV anchor Hasret, known for being the face of famous morning shows, will be in charge of covering the strange events. However, what she does not know is that she is also about to participate in this macabre game.
