Plot of the Turkish TV series Liar
The story of the Turkish TV series stars Deniz and Mehmet. Deniz is a middle-aged woman, a literature professor who, after getting divorced, has spent several years without being able to find a good partner.
If anything characterizes Deniz, it is the fact that she is a quiet and selective person, with a rather limited circle of friends. In his day-to-day life he tends to socialize with those he trusts.
Mehmet, on the other hand, is a prestigious surgeon who is respected in the medical world and, like Deniz, has not been very lucky in love after his wife passed away, since then he has been unable to find a partner.
Now, when Mehmet and Deniz’s paths cross, their lives will take a radical turn and they will never be the same again. Mehmet invites Deniz on a date, however, what begins as a totally conventional dinner, ends in a passionate night.
However, problems begin when Deniz accuses Mehmet that the act was not consensual, but Mehmet thinks otherwise, in fact, since that night he feels much more attached to her.
Thus the question arises, what really happened that night? The two have different opinions and will defend their version of events to the last instance. Who is telling the truth?
