Plot of the Turkish TV series Iffet
The protagonist of the series is Iffet, a young girl who lives with her father and younger sister in a modest neighborhood in the city of Istanbul. The girl is madly in love with Cemil, who is a young man who earns his living working as a cab driver.
Iffet and Cemil have what is said to be a clandestine, noncommittal relationship; however, that does not stop Iffet from longing to marry Cemil one day.
However, the relationship between the two will change radically when, during the wedding of some friends, Cemil gets drunk, loses control and ends up sexually abusing Iffet.
This causes a trauma in the young woman, who struggles to forget what happened, however, it is not easy. Cemil, for his part, asks for her forgiveness and promises to marry her. However, as if the damage he caused Iffet was not enough, Cemil does not keep his word and ends up marrying Iffet’s friend, who is the daughter of the owner of the cab line he works for.
Now doubly wounded, Iffet vows to take revenge. But what she didn’t expect was that fate would help her. This help comes when Ali, her boss, falls in love with her.
