Plot of the Eternal series (Ölene Kadar)
The story revolves around Daghan, a young medical student who is blamed for a murder he never really committed, for which he was sentenced to prison, where he has been deprived of his freedom for 11 years now.
However, to his good fortune, a young and beautiful lawyer named Selvin Nardan appears, who was a student of the defense lawyer who took on Daghan’s case, but could not show Daghan’s innocence and ended up losing the case.
However, when the professor dies, Selvi feels it her duty to take on the case to which her mentor devoted so much time. Thus, convinced that Daghan is indeed innocent, as her professor believed, she carries out all the necessary procedures to reopen the case and prove the innocence of the unfortunate young man.
From there, the story is told in flashback to show Daghan’s life 11 years earlier, when the murder of his girlfriend’s father led to his imprisonment. It then returns to the present, to show us Daghan’s life after his release from prison, a life that certainly won’t be easy.
In this way, the series gives us a story of intrigue while weaving a beautiful love story between the protagonist duo.

Compared to other Turkish soap operas, Until Death is quite short. It has only 13 episodes aired in a single season from January 12, 2017 to April 13, 2017.

The series was directed by Umur Turagay and Feride Kaytan, and written by Elif Usman, Deniz Büyükkırlı and Sevgi Yılmaz. As for its cast, it is worth mentioning the participation of Engin Akyürek, who is already an icon of the Turkish industry.
