Plot of the History of The Tale of the Far City
The story of the series The Tale of the Far City , also known in Turkish as Uzak Sehrin Masali, revolves around Ummay, a young woman who is married and has three children. However, her marriage is far from idyllic, as, her husband mistreats her cruelly.
Overwhelmed and frustrated by the life she leads, one-night Ummay decides to escape with her children to take refuge in her hometown, called Skitepe, where Sonay, her older sister, still lives.
On the other side of the story is Kürsat, who is a fugitive with a mysterious past. This young man has crossed the border illegally and has also ended up in Skitepe, specifically in Sonay’s house, where he will pretend to be married to her.
The paths of all these people will cross in the small town of Skitepe, and from this crossing will emerge a love triangle in which both Ummay and Sonay will fall in love with the mysterious Kürsat.
