Plot of the Turkish TV series Sweet Revenge
The storyline of this TV drama revolves around Pelin, a girl who leads a perfect life: she is beautiful, intelligent, has a great job and is about to marry the man of her dreams. However, when the wedding day arrives, Tolga, her fiancé, stands her up at the altar. From then on, her whole life seems to fall apart.
One day, walking down the street, she runs into a woman who tells her that her bad luck is due to the fact that she hurt someone in the past, and that she won’t be able to make amends if she can’t get that person to forgive her.
It is in this way that Pelin remembers Tankut, a fellow student who was shy and in love with her, and whom she took advantage of to obtain favors and gifts, and then cruelly rejected him. After suffering the harsh rejection, Tankut decided to drop out of college and change his life.
This is how Pelin sets out to find Tankut, and when he does, he discovers that he is no longer the same man he was years ago. He is now an attractive man with a great personality and the owner of a restaurant. And when Pelin goes to him asking for forgiveness so he can undo the curse, Tankut realizes it’s a good time to take revenge.
