The story of The Oath series follows Yavuz, a retired army lieutenant who is in excellent physical condition. Our protagonist is in a shopping mall where he asks his fiancée to marry him, however, everything turns into chaos when a terrorist attack is perpetrated in the mall where they were.

Yavuz and his fiancée manage to survive, and, as the lieutenant can still carry weapons, he protects not only his future wife but also the other citizens. However, to his surprise, shortly afterwards an explosion occurs in which his wife is killed.

The Turkish army constantly receives attacks and threats, so they request Yavuz’s reinstatement in the army, so that he can work under the colonel’s orders. So, Yavus will return to the army and will have to train very hard, both physically and psychologically. But he will have a special incentive: to take revenge for the death of his fiancée.

Soon after, a heroic act on his part earns him the colonel’s trust, and he becomes the commander of a brigade of nine members who will give their all to fight for their country.

This is how this novel unfolds. The interesting thing about it is that the plot tells the individual story of each of the members of the brigade, showing why each of these soldiers has decided to venture into such a risky crusade against crime and terrorism.
