Insider (Içerde)
One of the Turkish TV series that has gained a lot of popularity and acceptance in recent years is “Içerde“, also known in English as “Insider“. This Turkish soap opera was aired during 2015 and 2016 by Show TV, and produced by the hand of Ay Yapım production company.
“Içerde” was widely nominated for the Golden Butterfly Awards, which are the awards that recognize the most outstanding representatives of Turkish television.
Plot of this Turkish TV series
The story focuses on Sarp, whose brother named Umut disappears, since then Sarp has developed a feeling of guilt for the loss of his brother, obsessing over that misfortune.
As time goes by, Sarp graduates from the police academy and is assigned to a dangerous mission: to infiltrate the mafia syndicate led by Celal Duman.
There Sarp will fall in love with Celal’s protégé, a woman named Melek, whom the mafia boss picked up from the street along with another boy named Mert. These now adults belong to the mafia.
However, this does not end here, and Sarp realizes that Mert is his lost brother, however, the feeling between them is not that of two brothers, but that of two opponents each on a different side of the law.
Will brotherly love be able to heal the existing differences?

This Turkish soap opera began airing on September 19, 2015, culminating the broadcast on June 19, 2016, counting with a season composed of 39 episodes.
Now, what stands out about the series is the length of each chapter, being these between 120 and 140 minutes each.his makes it much longer than the average series we are used to watching.

Few would have taken the risk of making a Turkish adaptation of this famous film to avoid being criticized, but its producers had the audacity and boy, did they succeed.
