Ada Masali, known in English as “Island Tale”, is the latest Turkish soap opera sensation. Mediaset labeled it as “The latest rage in romantic comedies”. And it is not for less, since this series looks very good, and more, if we take into account that its screenwriters are the same as those of “Love is the air” and “Erkenci Kuş“.

Plot of the Turkish serie Ada Masali
The plot revolves around Harizan, who is a girl who loves living in the city. One day, the company she works for in Istanbul informs her of their plan to build a luxurious resort on a dream island, so she is asked to travel to the location.
Harizan has a bond with the location, as his mother was born and raised there, however, at the age of 20 she left, never to return.
On the other side of the story is Poyraz, a man who owns an olive oil factory. Poyraz lives with his grandmother, an old woman who is in a coma and for whom he is capable of doing anything.
Harizan and Poyraz’s paths will cross when the girl’s boss comes up with the idea of carrying out his project on land owned by the young Poyraz. That is why the company sends Harizan to that region, entrusting him with the task of convincing Poyraz to sell his land.
This situation will make Harizan’s stay in this paradisiacal region last longer than planned. His stay there will lead him to get to know Poyraz better.
The differences between the two protagonists, makes their relationship not easy. Poyraz is tired of seeing tourists near his factory, while Harizan is dedicated to her task of convincing Poyraz to sell his land. If she succeeds, the company will send her to work in Tokyo.

This series is very recent. In Turkey, it started airing on June 15 so, so far it is still in the first season and in episode 20. It is not known how many chapters the soap opera will have.
