Plot of the Turkish series The Day My Destiny is Written
The story of the series ahead tells us how money and power can harm the life of a needy person.
Kahraman is the son of an aging wealthy married couple, the Yörükhan family, which is eagerly waiting for an heir. However, Defne, Kahraman’s wife, is barren, so she is unable to secure the family’s offspring.
Defne, yielding to pressure from her mother-in-law, decides to look for a woman to rent her womb to bear her child. This woman is Elif, a young woman who is desperate for money because her mother is in prison, her father is dead and her sister is in a delicate medical situation. That is why she decides to accept the proposal to rent her womb.
However, when it seemed that everything could go well, the situation becomes complicated when Elif discovers that she has been deceived by the matriarch of the family. In reality, the young woman was subjected to artificial insemination instead of an in vitro pregnancy; which means that in reality the baby she is carrying in her womb is her son.
