Plot of the Turkish series Wounded Love
The story of the series is set at the end of World War I, on the Eastern Front, where Cevdet, a man who resigns his post as a colonel in the army of Thessaloniki for the love of his wife Azize, and his children – Ali Kemal, Yildiz and Hilal.
However, one day Colonel Tevfik, an ambitious man, convinces Cevdet to re-enlist in the army and join the fight for Turkish independence, a battle led by Mustafa Kemal Pascha; Tevfik proposes that he infiltrate the Greek military circle.
The war revolutionizes not only the political landscape of Turkey, but also the lives of every family, including Azize and his three sons, mainly Yildiz and Hilal, who surprisingly join the insurgency and begin to take an active part in the war for independence.
What Cevdet did not know is that Tevfik would betray him into the hands of the Greeks.
This is part of a Machiavellian plan of Tevfik, who is secretly in love with Azize. Tevfik tells Azize that Cevdet was killed on his mission. In addition, he offers his help to take her to the city of Smyrna and start a new life there.
