Plot of the series “The Girl Named Feriha”
The plot centers on Feriha Yılmaz, who lives in a luxurious residential complex, but in the basement of the complex, as her parents are the janitors of the building.
One day, Feriha gets a scholarship to go to study at a high-society university. There Feriha attends with expensive clothes and other things, however, nothing is hers, everything is borrowed from a friend of the residence. Thanks to her looks and intelligence, Feriha becomes the most popular girl at the university.
At college Feriha meets Emir Sarrafoglu, a young millionaire who dates rich girls. As time goes by and through some circumstances, the two fall in love. However, Feriha’s lies go further and further every day and involve more and more people.
Such deception has become a huge burden for the girl, who makes Emir believe that she is also from the high society and that she lives in the building as just another tenant. With each passing day the situation becomes more complex and untenable, and eventually, Feriha will find herself in a dilemma in which she will have to make a choice.
